History and achievements

The Czech Inline Hockey Association was founded in 1995 as a member of the international FIRS federation. It provides home competitions of all categories and also organizes the background for all national teams on the World Championships. The publicity for inline hockey is gained mainly through the great success on the international field.

We are currently on the second place in the historic tables of national teams.

  • World Games champions 2017
  • Men – attended 23 times, 5x gold, 5x silver, 9x bronze
  • Juniors – 7x gold (in a row, unbeaten at Worlds since 2009), 1x silver, 1x bronze
  • Women – 3x gold, 2x silver, 2x bronze
  • Veterans – 6x gold, 2x silver
  • Masters - 1x gold, 1x silver

Basic facts

Home competitions Extraliga, 1st league, 2nd league, extraliga of juniors, youngsters, children.
Members 3.000 registered players, 81 teams.
Towns and cities Praha, Brno, Kladno, Zlin, Pardubice, Hradec Kralove, Beroun, Olomouc, Uhersky Brod, Breclav, Plzen, Vrchlabi, Boskovice, Prerov and others.

In the home competitions, there are reguralry playing also some well-known ice hockey players from NHL, KHL or Czech Extraliga as Tomas Plekanec, Ales Hemsky, Rostislav Klesla, Petr Tenkrat, Ondrej Vesely or Jaroslav Balastik, but also some young talents as Buchtele, Holik or others.
